The Villa is within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and bars which you are welcome to do solo, as this is a very safe area. We’ll likely also take some group trips into town for fun as well.

About Rincon, Puerto Rico

Rincón, Puerto Rico is a beautiful coastal town on the western edge of Puerto Rico known for great waves, reef ecosystems, fishing traditions, and beaches that have long attracted surfers from around the Caribbean and beyond. The area sits within Taíno ancestral lands and later became shaped by Spanish colonial rule, African diasporic cultures, and migration across the region. Today, Rincón reflects a mix of local Puerto Rican communities, tourism economies, small-scale agriculture, and international influence.

Residents continue to sustain local traditions, protect marine environments, and create spaces for art, surfing, farming, and community organizing rooted in Puerto Rican culture.

The town’s coastline includes coral reefs, tide pools, and nesting areas important to sea life, making environmental stewardship central to many local conversations. Sunsets, surf breaks, and beaches remain important features of Rincón, not just attractions for visitors, but living environments.
Policies and Payment Plans
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE, no exceptions.
You can protect your investment by purchasing trip insurance through a 3rd party provider. If we don’t get the minimum number of retreat travelers by December 1st, 2026 we will cancel the trip and fully refund you.
Non-payment plan balances are due no later than December 1st, 2026
After your deposit is made, please email us at Liz@ElectricCottageCollective.com, and let us know you’d like to set up a payment plan. Please include the room you choose in the body of the email.
Balance must be paid in full before December 1, 2026 and will be split into even installments each month.
