Before Booking: Please read our Class Cancellation Policy

Unlimited Membership holders (including the New Student Special) will be charged a $5 fee for late cancels or no-shows. Remember: You can cancel your reservation for all of our regular weekly classes up to 6 hours before class starts. Some of our pop-up classes and workshops have different cancellation windows due to teacher needs and materials fees - those will be clearly marked on their descriptions.

We know life happens — childcare falls through, people get sick and the unexpected pops up. We’ve built Electric Cottage Collective with real life in mind, and we truly get it. We’re a space that resists grind culture and nurtures collective wellness — and part of that means honoring one another’s time and energy. This policy helps us do just that, while also ensuring we can continue to fairly support and pay our teachers.

As a small, independently run space with limited capacity, we do need to hold firm to these guidelines in order to keep things running sustainably for our community. Please do not ask us to change this policy for you, as it puts us in a difficult position.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and support in honoring our policies as written — it allows us to keep tending to this space in a way that feels good for everyone.

Class FAQ's

💪🏻What the heck is Barre?

  • Barre is a feel-good strength workout—gentle on your joints, powerful for your muscles. Using small, precise movements and mindful technique. Barre lifts, tones, and strengthens while improving posture and flexibility. Barre is a mixture of the same type of strength building as pilates, with influences from the ballet barre, with the mindfulness of yoga woven in.

🎓 Classes – Can I really use scholarship funds?

  • Absolutely YES.

  • Our scholarship fund exists because we believe that creativity, movement, and healing should never be out of reach. Check out our scholarships page to learn more.

👕 What should I wear to class? Check each class description for specifics, but here’s the general vibe:

  • Art classes: wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint/glue/ink/glitter on.

  • Yoga, dance, fitness: comfy clothes FTW. No need to get fancy. One more thing—no outdoor shoes in the studio, please. Our barefoot friends thank you (those tiny rocks hurt).

💃 Can I book a private class? 1000% YES.

We love hosting private classes and parties! Everything on our class menu is available for just you or your crew. Check out our "privates" page.
