New Class Alert! 🚨

Join Emma Zimmerman for: Words as Resistance, Words as Release 🖊️

📅 Every Thursday at 7:15-8:15pm starting in September!

♥️ Free for Unlimited Membership holders, regular class passes accepted, or sliding scale option

The written word is one of the most powerful tools we have — both for questioning systems of oppression, and finding peace and presence in the now. In this writing workshop, we’ll do both!

Come as you are, with every bit of rage and joy your day has brought, and get ready to release it to the page! For inspiration, we’ll read short passages by writers, activists, and environmentalists throughout history. Then, we’ll work through a new generative writing prompt every week, focusing on resistance or release (or both)! Many of these prompts can be revisited and used as grounding tools throughout your daily life.

No prior experience with creative writing is necessary. Anyone interested in writing, journaling, or exploring new realms of creativity is welcome here!
